Transport Ministry

We thank God for the transport ministry that serves to meet the transportation need of Calvary Tengah B-P Church well. The objective of this ministry is to provide transportation services to encourage friends and members of Tengah to come to the church earlier and to participate in other church activities. Currently, one bus is used on the going trip and two buses on the returning trip in order to utilize the buses more effectively. On the going trip, the bus leaves Bukit Batok at 12:50 p.m. via Jalan Teck Whye, Choa Chu Kang Ave 5 and 4, Lot 1, Yew Tee and thereafter to Tengah. The bus arrives at Shalom Chapel at 1:30 p.m. giving ample time for those who take the bus to join in the pre-service singspiration which starts at 1:40 p.m. On the return trip, one bus leaves Shalom Chapel at 5:20 p.m. for Calvary Pandan B-P Church via Lot 1 before going to Jurong East and Bukit Batok. The second bus leaves Shalom Chapel at 5:40 p.m. for Choa Chu Kang, Lot 1 and Yew Tee. The transport ministry also serves other ministries like the Sunday School, church carolling, church outings, church overseas missions, and whatever ministries that need transport. Please pray for this ministry that it will be kept efficient for the Lord. Let us also bear a good witness and testimony for Christ to the bus drivers by not playing, eating or drinking in the bus and being punctual. We welcome suggestion and feedback to improve the transport services. |
