Home Makers Fellowship
 
In 2008, we had 7 meetings in various homes with an average attendance of 12 regular homemakers.  Mrs Helen Wee from Berith B-P Church delivered God’s Word in 3 of the meetings on the “Beatitudes for Woman”.
 

Homemakers Fellowship exists for the purpose of reaching out to Tengah’s married womenfolk.  Through this fellowship we pray that these sisters will find good Christian fellowship and support in their roles as wives and mothers at home.  Indeed those who attended testified that their wearied spirits were much lifted through the sharing of God’s Word and encouraged by the sharing of fellow homemakers.  It is comforting to know that one is not alone in the struggles and problems with family, children and work.  They found comfort in God and in praying for one another.  We learn to “rejoice with them that do rejoice and weep with them that weep.”  (Romans 12:15)

May 2009 find more homemakers spending more time with the Lord in quiet devotion and taking time off in their busy schedule to come together to sit at the feet of Jesus to learn of Him who is meek and lowly in heart that we may be more like Him and be effective in our roles as keepers at home.  To God be the glory!
