Weekly Memory Verses
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Evangelistic Bible Correspondence Course The Evangelistic Bible Correspondence Course started in March 2003. The objective of this ministry is to share the gospel with the unsaved children who are not able to attend church but yet have the opportunity to learn and know about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Materials from the Mail-Box Club entitled “Winners” constitute the course syllabus. Lessons cover from salvation to practical Christian living, with illustrations to reinforce the truth of the Bible lessons. During these 2 years (2003-2004), 7 children have faithfully completed courses A & B and 5 children have completed course A of the syllabus. Out of these children, 3 have accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. Glory to God! In December 2004, the Sunday School department organised a Vacation Bible School. There were 53 non-Tengah children who participated in this 3 1/2 day programme. We extended our invitation to 15 of the children who are between the ages of 10 to 12 to sign up for the Evangelistic Bible Correspondence Course. Pray that many will be interested. In 2006, 4 children participated in our Bible Correspondence Course. Two of them faithfully completed the course and also testified that they have received Christ as their personal Saviour through this exercise. “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4 Brethren, do continue to pray for this ministry. If you know of any children who are studying in Primary 4 to 6, do invite and encourage them to sign up this course. This is another outreach that we can share the gospel with children who are not able to attend church and yet to learn about the good news of our Saviour Jesus Christ. May each one of us do our part in spreading the Gospel in any possible way which God allows us to. “But Jesus said, Suffer little children and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14) |
