Elder Boon’s trip to Cebu and Bohol incorporated visit to Gethsemane B-P Church and their ministries from 31 May – 5 Jun 2007. He was able to ascertain their needs and how Tengah can more effectively support these outreaches. Following up on Elder Boon’s visit, Elder Seah and Dn Hendrick Foo visited the Philippines from 4-9 October 2007, ministered at the Center for Biblical Studies at the ‘Hilltop’ in Antipolo province near Manila from Oct 4-6. Besides meeting with the five students whom Calvary Tengah is supporting, Elder Seah also spoke at their Friday Chapel service and meeting up with the faculty and staff. Due to a pressing need, Tengah contributed to the CBS a high-powered water jet for use in the general cleaning of the premises especially the walk-ways. From Manila , they traveled to Cebu and from Oct 6-9 they ministered to the folks in Cebu and Bohol Missions, outreaches of Gethsemane B-P Church of Singapore. Elder Seah spoke at the Combined Fellowship meeting as well as at the worship service at Cebu while Dn Foo brought the Word at Bohol . In addition, they managed to visit some members of the Cebu and Bohol churches. Rev Reggor, Preacher Edsel and the congregations in both Cebu and Bohol were encouraged in the Lord by their visit. |
